He can feel the blood pulse beneath his claws as he knocks Loren to the ground, trying to pin himself on top of the summoner, trying to dig his paws into his shoulders. Loren’s bared teeth are met with Sunjata’s own – not going for the throat, but simply going for the attempt at trying to win. But it doesn’t quite work out, not as he goes to snap his jaws in Loren’s face, only to be swatted aside by a fucking dragon, claws raking up his side much like Sunjata had done to Loren’s shoulders.
A growl leaves him in his panther form, flying over toward the sand as his blood begins to mix with it, shifting back into himself again and glaring at the sky for a brief second. Are you fucking serious right now? A huff of annoyance, wincing against the pain in his side. Gods, if he were drunk it’d be so much easier to not feel the pain. I thought you saved the dragons for Phoebe. But he tries again, shifting to his avian form to hopefully fly somewhere above the dragon and Loren, before shifting into a mix of his panther and whale form, hoping to slam down on top of the dragon and/or Loren.
