Maea's eyes did not leave him as she followed him to the room. Nor did she flinch away from the cold of his hand, bloodstained and filthy under her own pale fingers. Really, the girl was just grateful that he took it, that he let her bring them to the room. She watched him undress without saying anything, leaving him to do it in his own pace. Had he been injured she would have helped, would have made sure to bring a healer and whatever else he needed... but as he was still standing on his own two feet, it seemed he would be better served doing it with his own hands. The only time she turned her gaze away was to let in the people who came with the bath, a simple wooden barrel large enough for one person to sit in. She waved them off when they offered to bring hot water, and closed the door firmly behind them.
Turning back to Sunjata, leaning herself against the wooden panels of the door, she took him in. The drying, crusted blood. Bruises, light scrapes... a void in his eyes where stormclouds used to roll by. He'd finished undressing, and stood there. Just, stood, with the mug in his hand, waiting. As if she was about to judge him for something, or throw questions at him of things he clearly did not wish to recall.
Pushing away from the door, Maea walked up to him. Stopped when she was in his space, chest to chest, only a breath away. Reaching for his hand again, she gently pulled him towards the tub, where hot, steaming water was rising in a steady flow, summoned and heated by her magic. "Sit," she told him gently, and then eased away to find washcloth and soap. He could keep the mug. She'd even refill it for him when needed; they could have that discussion some other time.
