In the end, it was impossible to hold back the tears. There was too much pain in the story he told, even if Sunjata's voice sounded quite impassive most of the time. Not just the beautiful parts with the strong jaw, the high brow and long eyelashes, but the scars. The lines, the frowns, all those little imperfections that were so very easily ignored for a girl with love in her eyes.
