if i let go, would you hold on, would we fly?
is it safer if we just say that we tried?
He listens as Amalia says no and offers herself up, followed quickly by Deimos, far enough that Sunjata clenches his jaw, sighs quietly through his nose, wondering when it would be over when he feels Safrin curl her hand around his arm, and he looks up to his goddess with quiet consideration. He feels like a child among all the confusion, remaining silent as he considers her words.

Perhaps… perhaps something dead but come back to life wasn’t really needed at all. Perhaps just the symbolism of it? Perhaps he’s wrong, but he tries it anyway after Safrin finishes. His free hand reaches for the necklace around his neck that had been a gift given to him, a carving of a whale made from bone, repurposed, worn again, something given a different purpose than the death it had held as being post among the wastes of Halo.

Wait. Would… Something like this work?” He asks, slipping the necklace from his neck, holding it in his scarred palm as he looks up to Safrin. Though he supposes if he’s way off the mark she’ll certainly let him know. “It’s made from bone.

Sunjata offers the bone carving necklace Maea gave him here: please forgive me, I can’t sleep at night
are we laughing at the danger?
are we dancing after death, you and I?
No permission needed for power play!
Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
