Morgan had not ever felt a particular call to bother with the Gods while growing up in Halo. They'd always felt like distant figures away from the ice and snow, unlike the spirits that had always been right there with her in the mountains, available for communication, holding useful information.
With her arrival in Torchline, though, and the new conversations she'd had, challenges she'd faced...a lot of things were up in the air. Caido was in a state of transition from the old to the new and she had to move with it. So, to first attempts.
Climbing the lighthouse where she had been told there was a shrine, she held her offering tight in her fist; the hilt from an old sword, one that had been finely crafted from silver with gem details; the seller had even told her there was some Mageglass in there, but she wasn't sure. Either way, it was surely a suitable gift for a Goddess.
Putting the hilt on the shrine, she did not kneel. "Safrin, this is an offering for you. I hope you will accept it." She had things to say if the Goddess actually responded, but Morgan was hardly hopeful of that.
