A rogue at heart and in life, Jack has been dodging trouble and rewriting Torchline’s rules for as long as most can remember. Though his slight, rugged exterior might seem easy to overlook in the crowded alleys of Haulani, a sharper look reveals a man as dangerous as he is enigmatic. With an infamous reputation and razor-sharp wit, matched with eyes that see and say more than most can handle, Jack's real weapon lies not in his stance but in his piercing blue gaze—and a telepathic edge no one knows about. Recent endeavours—like romancing Torchline's queen and trading favours for children with Safrin—show that while Jack may lack a conventional moral compass, he’s bound only by his own ambitions.
Congratulations, Jack!

i've seen fire & i've seen rain. i've seen sunny days that i thought would never end
Once, a man called Caiside in what felt like a different life, had explained volcanoes to Remi. He'd described them as mountainous plumes of fire and heat. Importantly, he'd said it was only a matter of time before they expressed their violence and fire, no matter how silent they'd been. Though it hadn't been high on the alchemist's list of priorities, he'd watched the volcano, not knowing what signs to look for, but watching all the same.
The smoke, the cries of alarm—it was impossible to miss. Only this time as Remi rose into the air on wings of soft sienna, it wasn't to try and be a hero. He'd help wherever he could, but his eyes, keen as they were in hawk form, were looking for lives sure to be lost in the heat and lava flow.
Remi arrives as a hawk, and is looking around for anyone clearly dying >.>

As the eruption rang out across Haulani, Saiden's eyes widened. He sprang up from his spot by the ocean, hand instinctively gripping his cutlass, though it would do little good. For a moment, he stood frozen. Then he moved, tossing himself into the waves to douse himself in salty water.
Then he emerged and went running up the hills. As he did, he called upon water from the ocean. Gripping as much of it as he could, he pulled it behind him like a wave that went on too far. Coughing slightly from the ash in the air, once he reached as high as spot as he thought was safe he shoved the water in front of him.
Saiden take a dip in the ocean to wet himself. Then he brings as much water as he can handle from the ocean and runs towards Haulani. He puts the water in front of him, all using the following:
Upgraded Water manipulation: Can manipulate water. Must be within a 30ft radius. Control is excellent.
He also has a cutlass at his hip.

you were forged in fire // and you rose from the ashes
murder and mercy rolled into one
He knows nothing about volcanoes, really, but he does hear the way the earth shifts, the discomfort with the varying animals beneath his skin. Something is wrong. So he sets out, Safrins daggers in hand, the water brass knuckles Remi had made him settled along his person as well.
He knows one thing about fire, as well, grabbing a bandana of sorts to tie around his face as he bolts toward the thick of it. His goal in all of this is to try and get as many people out, to try and also grab how many supplies they might need of buckets — with no magic in his arsenal to help further the process.
Sunjata arrives with Safrins daggers and the brass knuckles from Remi and tries to help get people out and away from it.
which way is up?

The ocean had been so peaceful, a blue and watery mirror beneath the sky, waves echoing clouds as Jigano had soared above on silver wings, enjoying the peace.
Peace all too soon interrupted as fire and smoke filled the sky from nearby, and the dragon swiftly turned on a wingtip towards the source of the alarm, curious and horrified as the mountain began to spew flame.
He dove for Haulani, wings folding and body changing as he fell, aiming for the area nearest the volcano's side to throw his mastered earth and creation magic into building a bulwark wall to turn aside any lava flow that might begin to menace the city. Numeria had bordered a volcanic range, and though he'd not seen one erupt before, he'd heard enough stories from the old timers to be prepared.
Jigano arrives at the end of the city nearest the volcano and uses mastered earth+creation to begin building a protective wall to divert any incoming lava
Morning usually meant a winding down for Nate, the sun the only bad thing about spending time in the tropical paradise. He knew what volcanoes were, though he'd never seen one, never felt the fury and the heat of the earth. It was terrifying, the first time he'd felt small, in danger since he'd ascended. The first time he'd felt like everyone else.
Nate threw his cloak over himself and rushed out the door, braving the sun in the hopes he could help someone else. At least he'd just come from Halo, had access to some magic and some shifts to hopefully help more than he could with just what he had. It was power he would hold onto for as long as he could though, his voice ringing out as he tried to direct people towards the beaches, away from the encroaching danger.
Nate tries to direct people immediately around him to safety. He has access to Loren's magic but is holding onto it for the time being.
