She loved the ocean. The way it changed color with the weather, how it seemed to be in a different mood every day. It was big and beautiful and blue, and the swimming lessons had quickly become her favorite thing to do. Second only to flying on the cloud.
Gazing eagerly out at the ships, she kept a firm grip on his hand. Had promised not to let go as long as they walked by the water, and Seren had no intention of being taken away from the sea by breaking the rule. "Yes please! Can Saiden come too? He said he lives on a boat," she replied, cheerful as always.
A crab scurried past her foot, and Seren's gaze fell to look at it. Something in the water caught her attention then, a shape seen just at the corner of her eye... looking up, she squinted curiously into the bobbing waves.
