Morgan followed along into the mine silently, taking Eunike as long as she was able to, though she did jump off the unicorn's back to instead lead it along, staying by the behind of the group. This seemed to serve her well when icicles began to fall and hit others instead of her: while she showed no outward sign of it, it would be false to say she did not take some petty joy in watching the ice's victims be struck.

She did pay particular attention to Wessex's speech, though not necessarily for better co-operation in the mission. Figuring she may as well speak now, knowing she had far less magical ability than the rest of the team, Morgan said: "I have mastered water magic and I have years of survival and battle experience." Much shorter and she purposefully left out the telekinesis: Zariah knew, but it was good to have something to surprise the rest with, if this ended up with her on the other side of the team.

Not particularly having a care about which way they go and fine for now to follow along with the team, Morgan wordlessly headed with Wessex down the left path.
