DELPHINE
Noah was hunting, or at the Kraai, she wasn't sure and really that didn't bother her. She liked having a man who was not afraid to go and do things without her, who didn't constantly watch her. The silence of the house, save for Poe, meant that Delphine was standing on a chair, with paint in one hand and a variety of brushes in the other. She had a house to finish painting, after all. And she did focus best without distractions.
The couch was in the center of the floor, the living room was a mess, though that had stopped bothering Delphine a while ago. Her hair was in a bun, messy as ever, her clothes and skin covered in paint, not that that had ever bothered her.
When somebody knocked on the door, the blonde woman couldn't be bothered to get out of her chair and stop painting. "Come on in! Doors open," Delphine's stupidity would never cease to amaze her writer naivety had led her wrong often, but she continued to take chances, continued to trust that things would work out.
In fact, for the moment, she continued painting the forest scene on the wall, high up on a chair. Bit disrespectful, but she was assuming it was a delivery.
