Frowning, Amun took another step closer to the stranger. "Someone did. If not you, then who?" The potter glanced around at the glittering crystal. A particularly brilliant flicker of light caught his eye. He found himself staring at it, transfixed.
Without looking at the other man, the Ascended shrugged. "I thought I knew who I was. A fallen star. But then I found out I was a copy. And now I don't know if I still fell from the sky or if I just think I did."
The blood drew his gaze back to the stranger. When the other man refused, Amun made a whining and mewling sound in the back of his throat. "But I'm so thirsty. And you have so much of it." He licked his lips.
