The Wraith knows she’s done something wrong, knows that the twitching lion is not a good thing, but doesn’t know how she can help. Her hands fly to her face, comedically distraught as she just stands and watches her companion lay there, whispered, rapid “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry” coming out of her mouth over and over again. Gingerly reaching out to pet the lion, she tries to awkwardly soothe it until she just gives up and scoots back.
Oh, this is not a good place. This is not a good place at all. Between the water and the hurt she’s just caused, Wessex is almost ready to bail. But as she backs up against the stone wall, it triggers something in her - a memory. Distant, yet recent, the flimsy words of something they were supposed to do while down here. What is it, what is it? There was an ours thing?
