The flash of blue was a scent in the air, a feeling in her heart, and Seren only realized that she was heading past it as it flashed by. Making herself heavier to withstand the pull of the wind, she turned back and headed off towards the left, towards the ocean and the rhythmic pulse of waves, liquid heartbeats of this hazy world.

SEREN

Will it fill our hearts with thoughts of endless night time sky?

All at once, Nate's attention is caught by a scent on the breeze, by the sharp familiar smell of salt. He's looking for the ocean, isn't he? Even if the thoughts of waves, of deep distant depths terrify him. As his face turns, so too does his body, veering right, towards the sea, the call of the pearl. He'll run until there's nothing left if he has to, run to the edges of wherever this is.

Amaris

The brightest colours fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake

Mental nudges and crooning songs had her pause again, as the smell of the ocean became impossible to ignore. Once again, golden sights shifted to look all around, but only white could be seen, only white could be felt.

With a deep breath, Amaris turned, and began on the path to the left. They had to reach the pearl, to take the treasure for themselves, the sensation of ineed for it too overwhelming to ignore now.

CHULANE

let's set the world on fire

He flies, true and straight, winged pounding in rhythm with the swell of the ocean he now hears as well. It is too near to ignore, his want for the pearl too great - he deviates from his path at last, leaning his flight to the right, hoping to behold the prize with his eagle eyes soon. In all this, he still didn't know why he sought the pearl, but it was just a dream after all - perhaps he didn't need to have a reason for everything in this dreamscape.

JUNIPER

but it's the easiest thing to do

The ocean was so close Juniper could almost taste it, salt on her lips. She turned to the right, following the sound of the waves, closing her eyes for a moment -- after all, they were useless in the fog. Made it. But that was only half the journey, wasn't it? Now that she'd found the ocean, she still had to venture into it, find ... whatever it was she was looking for within.

In real life, Juniper wasn't a big swimmer, but this was just a dream, wasn't it? She would be fine ... wouldn't she?

She steps onto the water, a wraith upon a misty sea, and from far below the tugging of the pearl aches against her chest. She wants to reach for it, to pluck it from the waves- but she knows that she cannot. There is an answer to be given first, something beyond physical reach. A tickle in her mind, responded to in a tense, bright thought.

What will it lead to? Only the dream can say.

The leopard pauses, his tail swishing back and forth. Choices.... choices..

He takes the time to glance at each one before looking up towards the trees. Yep, that sounded like a good enough of an idea in his mind.

And with that, the spotted creature surges on forward. His paws pounded along to ground as he moves to enter into the forest, deciding that since the view ahead looked pretty boring, he might as well see what this forest held within.

Is it protecting you, or trying to keep you from your goal? The ocean roars ahead, somewhere...though there's no way to tell how far. What do you do? (Continue through the forest, double back, stray left/right, etc)

The path began to widen, becoming easier to see and traverse; the God's assistance, he was sure. Confident Gideon walked faster now, less balancing and caution and now more eager, excited to see what it was he was being led to.

OLIVER

The trees are gorgeous, to say the least, but also intimidating. The branches clutch at him and scratch up against him, but Oliver doesn't care about it. Instead he persists onward until he hears the sound of a roaring ocean.

Tilting his head to the side, it's hard to tell where the sound is coming from, almost impssobile really.

Trusting his gut, Oliver chooses to head straight. It feels right... and something about it is just perfect.

Seeing as he was already shifted, might as well stay shifted. Instead of remaining in his leopard shift, he decides instead to give his bird shift a try. Shifting into a woodpecker, Oliver's wings carry him upwards and forwards. He hopes that this will allow him to see through those dense branches!

The scent of sea is forgotten and for a moment Milo wonders if it were important. He pauses, staring down the path that the wind beckons on, before pausing to look back the way he’d come. Nothing makes sense in this dreamscape, the smuggler unable to remember anything of his original pursuit. So onward he goes, following the winds.
