Glad to see that he'd been of some use Bastien nodded at Raza, the hand on his shoulder interpreted indeed as simply a 'bro' touch. He watched as she went to give the flower to Deimos as well, seeing that they had the same idea; Deimos seemed to know what to do, and the lilies were desperately important. That they were well cared for mattered more than most things he did in his day to day life and he didn't want the responsibility on his hands (especially not as he knew if he messed up, the Ascended as a whole could well be blamed).
"Birds?" He asked Sunjata, not inherently worried at that; they weren't familiar with all the fauna of the Climb, after all, and the noises could just be those of something harmless and native to the area. Bastien followed on though, getting closer to Sunjata, looking around and above them for the source of the noises he could hear.
