A brighter laugh leaves him at her scoffed comment, a rogue grin brandished across his face. “Just don’t grab mine, alright?” He offers with a wink, before they’re moving and preparing for the spar. He wraps his hands, eyes her curiously, and with quite a bit of interest, centering himself and settling himself so that they can begin.
And without much comment otherwise, he begins, narrowly missing her in a way that has him slightly surprised but also quite pleased with the result, stepping forward as she spins around on her heel and swings her own fist out, the quip met with a huff of amusement. “Do I?” He asks, following through with his steps so that he evades her initial attack to her ribs, her fist missing the target much like his had. “Come on. You can do better than that.” It’s playful and he can’t quite wipe the grin from his face.
But he doesn’t give her a moment to rest, turning just enough to bring his fist back up to aim for her side, just above the hip where he thinks she might be exposed if she had over-extended the fist she’d flung at him.
