"If it does not fit, I will make a new portal for it." Bastien declared proudly; honestly, he didn't want to even imagine the possibility that it wouldn't fit. Really, the solution would be to take it apart and hope to assemble it again at their destination, but he refused to entertain that thought until absolutely necessary. Hopefully, it would just all work out, as it usually seemed to for him (except the time his wife died but shush).
