"I'd love to return to the Feverlands, as well as going somewhere new," she admits. "It was hard to do as a manticore, but I feel as though there is so much knowledge packed away there, waiting." Isla's sigh is one of exquisite longing, though there's a thread of fierce curiosity that runs through her (not much change there).
Scoffing at his sass, Isla takes the opportunity to elbow Remi lightly as he folds his arms, the medic tucking a lock of fair hair back behind her ear. He's right though, about being a manticore, and she tilts her head up towards the stars, like she can feel the wind through her feathers again. "Yeah," she agrees, huffing out a sudden breath and flashing him a grin.
"I don't want to keep you in the cold for too long, or from Mateo for any longer than you've already been away, so..." She shrugs and spreads her hands. "Shall we do this? So it's ready before LongNight?"
