Adam did take a step back as Kiada threw her knife; he knew it was not really Sunjata, but the sight of a blade sinking into his friend's chest was still uncomfortably real. Soon after though, the beast within began to show through, and then it was advancing. With experience of years fighting in the streets, Adam would try to side step and then lean up over the creature, to be able to bring both daggers down hard onto it's back.
"Less thinking, more fucking doing something." He hissed to Edwyn, annoyed by the groups general lack of initiative to act; maybe Adam just had a different approach, and he wasn't usually the most violent person...but here, right now, fighting monsters in the dark? It was kill or be killed, best to be aggressive first and ask questions later. Once he was sure his daggers had sunk into the boggart's back all the way to the hilt, he would pull them back out.
