The relief as strength filled his body again was overwhelming; Adam let out a heavy sigh and rolled his neck and shoulders, though quickly was stepping out to be in line with Kiada again. Nate seemed to once again have this mostly handled, rushing back in after the beast reacted, with all the determination and strength of a mythical hero; had he always been so damn cool?

Adam didn't want to be shown up, so he took his crossbow out again and tried to be a little smarter this time. Instead of aiming for the eyes, which Nate was far too near and he'd already missed, he instead aim to the side and lower, hoping to take out one of the monster's legs (or even two, depending on how big and far apart they were. It was hard to tell in the chaos) and make it unsteady. Praying for the sake of his ego he'd make the shot, he pulled the trigger.

Now healed, Adam steps back into the fight and attempts to shoot the beast with his crossbow in one of the legs. (hopefully missing Nate :U).
