It seemed he was really destined to be pretty fucking useless in this fight, as yet another one of his attempts to hit the monster failed, Adam grabbing onto Isla to make sure he didn't fall off from the momentum of the missed attack. Isla didn't do well either and he held back a yell of frustration as they flew away to readjust for a new swing at it - maybe it would just be best to fly away, but he wasn't the one in charge here.
As she went in for the sting, he decided to aim for it's eyes again; they were the squishiest part he could see, and a lack of visibility would really screw the beast over. In a possibly ill-advised spur of the moment decision, he drew back the hand holding Flametongue and tossed it, hoping to strike it right into one of the eyes.
