Don’t worry, Adam, Kiada’s completely useless here too. She clings to Bate as he rises up into the air, hand tight on the spine that she sits behind as if it’s a rein of sorts, and when they get close enough she throws one of the throwing knives over at the creature. But then Nate’s growing and both hands come to the spine to tuck her in, gritting her teeth as Nate’s lightning erupts and they’re still moving through the clouds.

This isn’t what she had anticipated for a LongNight adventure, but at least she’s got some upgrades to work with, keeping her grip tight on the back of Nate and hoping that perhaps she won’t get flung off with this approach from her fellow Ascended-turned-dragon.


Kia throws a throwing knife at the monster and then holds on for dear life, keeping her armor upgrade in place!
