"I have no idea, Sunjata," Aurelia answers simply, the words painfully honest. She could offer him snippets of things he could do, ways he could cope, how to handle the either or of it all. The fork in his road is... complex, but it's ultimately up to him where he goes from here. "You should've seen him when we thought you were..." dead. Her gaze shifts and she trails off, the silence heavy. She'd been in mourning, too, but she doesn't see much point in saying so. "He does love you," is the point she's trying to make.
Aurelia lets things air out, in that way they do, as she leans into her drink.
How far love can take them, or the things it can protect them from? That part is less easy. Aurelia's not an avid believer in love always triumphing. She knows it doesn't. That's why she clings to it. Sunjata... he's not naive about it, either, and this must be incredibly hard for him.
