But he draws quiet again, letting her explain that Safrin told her she was tainted by her magic, Sunjata nodding along with that in some understanding, before he’s chewing on the inside of his cheek. “They hate it because of the Voice.” He offers her, his gaze scanning her face as he tilts it avian-like. “She was abandoned and got too strong, I think.” He’s a bit fuzzy on the details, but he’s pretty sure that’s how it went.
