He was alone in blue territory and he knew full well that he couldn't defeat Noah and Hotaru. Maybe Bilbi but the Accepted was the smallest threat to begin with right now. Sah had half a second to decide a course of action, and he glanced at the flag wondering if a desperate move was worth it. He could try to grab the flag and run but he'd likely get caught. He could also double back to his territory and regroup with the others. But then the flag began to trembled and the decision was made. Seemingly all on it's own accord, the flag came flying at Sah, who's eyes widened at the incoming projectile. "What the FUCK?!" He reached out trying to catch it and prevent it from crashing into his face. Sah tried to decide a course of action only for the flag to come flying at his face. Hotaru

Finally, the tide is beginning to turn. As Noah races back across to their side, Hotaru takes stock of the situation; Bonnie transforms back to her human form, and Hotaru gives a sportsmanly grin even if it’s a little sharp with the thrill of the game. But there’s no time for further contemplation, only action and reaction. As Noah approaches she sends a small arc of lightning towards Sah, both to try and stop him and to direct Noah’s attention if needed. But she has to put faith in her teammate, and as such she goes sprinting past in the opposite direction towards the blue team’s territory.

This time she shrouds only her own body in electricity; hoping to dissuade anyone from tagging her. Heading straight for Aisha, she pulls one of her daggers, electrifies and throws it, hoping to force the leopardess to jump backwards by aiming for her feet. If she gets shocked at the same time well, bonuses.

Then she focuses on the pillar. It’s still standing, if lopsided from Noah’s impact. So she gathers all her might into one massive bolt of lightning, hoping to strike it down so she doesn’t have to climb it; keeping her feet swift as she dodges around the right side of it, hoping to stay out of Aisha’s range.

Ru: shoots a small bolt at Sah, runs for the blue side towards Aisha with low level electricity over her skin, electrified and throws a dagger at Aisha’s feet and tries to topple the tower with the biggest bolt of lightning she can manage.

Which team would emerge victorious? An interesting change of plans ran amuck once more – no efforts to alleviate the jails, where multiple members sat, stood, or pouted. So the rest were left to patience, persistence, luck, and some other potential barrages.

For all of Bilbi’s impacts in the latter run, they faded and waned on this current round. Hotaru became the shining star, reaching forth into Red territory with her electrical pulses – and while she missed Sah, she proved very well on her run-in with Aisha. The guild master tried in best effort, but how well can one guard against bolts of lightning? The pillar was singed, crumbling, teetering, and likely only needed one more good assault to come toppling to the ground.

Burt and Sah moved together as a well-orchestrated unit, as if they’d fought together for a while instead of now - and in Sah’s confusion over the status of his newfound powers, Burt took defensive maneuvers, managing to ensure Noah was distracted enough for Sah to grab –

Yes. Sah had the blue team’s flag. Would he be able to cross back over into his own territory? Or would someone else impede his attempts?

And Smitty? Smitty did an excellent job on guard duty, because no one came and bothered him at all.

Team Red:
Aisha cannot stop Hotaru, and your pillar is now crumbling. It can withstand about one more attack.

Smitty was a very good guard.

Burt assisted in distracting Noah, and Sah has grabbed the blue flag! If he can race back into Red territory, then he’s got this!

Team Blue:
Noah defended well, but couldn’t stop Sah’s powers from grabbing the flag! Stop him before he gets back over!

Bilbi’s efforts were in vain, but Hotaru’s were not, and she’s nearly toppled the Red team’s tower.

"If I can't move the heavens above, I will move Hell" Sah wasted no time. The second the blue flag was in his hand, he tightened his grip and took off at a dead sprint. Throwing his sword behind him towards Noah as Sah headed towards the  safety of the red side. It was a small countermeasure. Best case scenario, the sword hit the large target of his polar bear shift. Worst case, it was a small distraction. Regardless it would hopefully   still gave Sah just a few extra seconds ahead of the other team. At least that was his thought process as he sped off. "Cover me!" Sah called to his teammates in the hopes that they could keep the inevitable pursues off of his back long enough for him to ensure their victory. Sah is taking off to safety! NOAH

The roar that reverberated from the depths of his throat seemed to keep Sah from coming in too close, but the abandoned apparently had more magic that the hunter did not know about. The flag came wizzing past his head and Noah tried to catch it between strong jaws, but just missed it.

The polar bear moved instantly towards where the flag was flying -- Sah. He roared again, his massive body nearly shaking the game field as he barreled towards the once-wolf. Sah's sword came flying towards him and Noah turned his head up and away to protect it and altered his course slightly, but did not falter in his charge. He pressed his body as quickly as it would go, and attempted to tackle down the retreating man.

Aisha waited by the pillar, watching everything turn and shift around her. Defense was suddenly offense for the other team, and where Sah was making solid ground on the blue team's flag, Aisha faltered in her own role. But really, electric dagger? She wasn't about to get him with that, she dodged the blow but was still met with a tendril of static, it flew through her, burning her hands that held the metal sword before fizzling away.

When she looked back up, the column had been hit again, and this time it was close to crumbling. Aisha gave and huff, changed her hold on her blade, then swiftly made her way to Ru. She jerked her head from Smitty to the other side, signaling for them to go aid Sah if they could. She had every intention of taking out Ru. Wherever the woman moved next, Aisha and her sword would be there to block, ward off, and hopefully tag her out.

Well that worked a hell of a lot better than she'd anticipated, but she isn't going to stop and congratulate herself just yet. Not with Aisha bearing down with her reclaimed sword and determination in the crest of her brows. It's a risk to try and obtain the flag herself without pulling a teammate from their jail, but with Sah yelling in the background Hotaru is ready to take that risk.

She is beginning to fatigue with her magic, but if she can accomplish both things with one strike...well, lightning likes to spread. Hopefully she can use that to her advantage.

One more big bolt, that's all she needs - aimed at the side of the pillar to try and knock it down, and then jerking at the bolt to send it sideways towards Aisha. Enough for it to have been dulled away from lethality, hoping to knock her out or send her flying so Hotaru can retrieve the flag.

Hotaru uses one more big lightning bolt on the pillar, then redirects it towards Aisha to try and knock her out or blast her backwards.

And then, through teamwork and diligence, strategy and fortune, a victor prevailed.

Beforehand, there were the roughened edges of it all. Noah, for all his might and menace, for all his bulk and brawn, couldn’t stop the implementation of numbers and people upon him. Burt’s covering for Sah wasn’t without its challenges (he faltered under the polar bear’s claws), but Smitty, the usually useless oaf, rose to the occasion, distracting the Attuned hunter long enough to ensure Sah could rampage along enemy lines.

Hotaru’s impacts this time faltered – the lightning bolt couldn’t withstand Aisha’s speed, and the Valkyrie was tagged out. The blue team’s once momentous assemblage crumbled, and the red team’s impact was renowned thereafter, as Sah crossed territorial lines, flag raised high.

Deimos blew the whistle then, loud and careening over the toppling formations and surviving members. “Congratulations to the Red Team!” He began a steady round of applause, for they’d earned it, and onlookers from the shields gathered nearby responded in spirit. The General eventually came downward, off the wall, and into the melee, encouraging all of them with a juvenile grin. “Hard won and well fought to both groups. Thank you for participating. If any of you need healing,” and here he glanced over at the jails emptying out, those returning to their mutual sides, “Zuriel is available.” The unicorn wandered forward, head lowering in a gesture for them to come to her if it was a necessity.

Eventually, the beast turned to Aisha, to Sah. “As victors, I can grant you one magical item each. Just let me know what you would prefer.”

Listening to their requests, the monolith set to work on procuring, contorting, and creating, between gilded palms and adornments. For Sah, the Sword manifested a blade - made for conducting the same elemental conduit that ran through the Abandoned's veins. An ornamental facet was only rendered at the hilt, golden, with an inlet of a wolf with wings embedded into its metal surface.

And for Aisha, a sheath for the sword he'd granted her once before - capable of shifting with her, no matter what form she took.

Congratulations to the Red Team!

In summary:

Noah deterred Burt, but couldn’t stop Sah, courtesy of Smitty’s efforts. Sah crossed over into Red territory, securing the win.

Aisha took out Hotaru.

Noah feels the victory slide between his claws as he tumbled over Burt. Smitty came for him out of the corner of his eye and he halted, just as Sah touched over the team's territory barrier. The polar bear growled with frustration, shaking his thick white coat out before shifting back to his born skin.

Letting his breath fall from his lips he reached to help Burt up, extending his hand out to the man he had all but trampled in his sprint towards Sah. "Good game." Noah smiled brightly, before moving towards Sah. "Nice job." His smile still planted on his face as he closed the distance between him and the once-wolf. He extended his hand to shake it. "We'll have to train more together in the future."

Turning towards Deimos, Noah nodded and lifted a fist in the air, just above his eyebrow height. "This was a good session! Thank you for hosting it."

Ugh it felt good to win. The lightning bolt came sizzling and crackling her way, pulled by the sorceress from the crumbling pillar towards the swordswoman in an attempt to blast her back or render her incapable. Except Aisha was already upon her, having gathered enough forward momentum to meet Hotaru just in time. The flat of her blade was swung against the other woman's stomach and Ru was staggered back. Just like that, the blue team's offense was out.

And when she looked back to the other side, Sah was Smitty were parading the flag over the line. Victory in a cerulean hue, Aisha beamed and raced over to her team mate's side. Smitty wasn't so useless after all, she clapped his shoulder and gave a quick peck to his cheek before uniting with Sah, pulling him in for a hug. They were joined by the previous jailbirds, Burt and Bonnie equally and happy to be on the winning team.

Good game, nice job, you did great, haha we won losers, all was shared between the gathered players before Deimos moved to Aisha and the red team. A magic item? Aisha smiled, knowing exactly what would be useful. She told him what she wanted, a sheath that would shift with her sword when she changed forms, so she could easily switch between animal to soldier during battles. It didn't take long before his incantations had conjured one for her, perfectly melded for the sword also of his creation.
