The instructions for the portal seem almost laughably simple, especially compared to the hassle of the Climb. Nate’s not one to look a gift horse in the mouth though, instead nodding and accepting the task with a soft promise to get it done.
There is something that eases in Nate to hear the Voice agree with him - of course, of course he can’t leave! - and it sets his head nodding in agreement. It nearly convinces him to open his mouth, to say something about his home being wherever Sunjata was, but he stops himself, afraid of the repercussions. Instead he shifts awkwardly on the ground, pushing himself up to his feet and stepping a touch closer to his goddess. “I know I will.” He murmurs, smiling and taking his leave.
