Phoebe's smile grew as he complimented her, tilting her head a little to the side as she looked up at him. Some women needed gifts and shiny things as a sign of affection. Some women needed more physical affirmation. Then there was the sort like Phoebe, who needed the verbal confirmation of approval. Like a wilted flower blooms after a rain shower, Phoebe seemed to glow under his praise, though it wasn't anything grandiose or particularly elegant. He thought she was beautiful, and that pleased her to no end - specifically because it was coming from him. But...she wasn't sure she wanted to just sit there and be showered with compliments. She wanted...more. What that more was was something she couldn't place her finger on, feeling the tingly warmth in her stomach returning. He wanted to kiss her again? Her heart began to race again, having inexplicably relaxed when she realized how warm the room was. But it was awfully nice of him to ask...not just assume. She was well aware of how strong he was, and knew he could easily do whatever he wished to her - a thought that suddenly made her very excited for reasons she couldn't quite wrap her head around - yet he took the time to ask.
