(This is for this step of Gideon's God Quest from Ludo: - Complete a thread leaving the crystals from dawn until dusk at one of Safrin's shrines. )
He had spoken to the people and gathered the crystals; now all there was left to do was to present them to Safrin. Gideon arrived early in the morning, before dawn, to set up by the shrine. Bringing himself water but no food (a fast seemed appropriate) he sat with the crystals before him on the lip of the altar, hands on his knees and his eyes closed in prayer.
Occasionally, even the Priest was prone to impatience, but he tried his best to limit his moments of peeking at the shrine throughout the day, only allowing himself to when he took a break to drink or adjust his position. Eventually, the sun began to sink and dusk was upon the city; determined not to leave until the duty was through, Gideon continued to stay with the crystals before him.
