In the disorientation of it all, at least there is Aurelia's commanding voice and Adam's (far less so) to direct his attention from his soupy fate. One calloused hand reaches for Adam's, and pulls hard to ease himself from the mire. His bright grin is at odds with his dirty fate, appreciative of the man's assistance and more than willing to - quite literally - pull his own weight to make things a little easer. "Thanks bud!" Grasping the ledge and trying to stand once more.
Raza's voice is a familiar drawl even before she says his name, and Harper turns over his shoulder to flash her a bright grin - at odds with the dirt smeared on his freckled cheeks. "It's a date, Raz!" No sense in letting the chaos and stress dampen their spirits.
