He nods to the squeeze of his arm, in confirmation with her even if his attention is elsewhere, and when the order is done his gaze slips back to her, withdrawn as it had been before. “Thank you.” It’s a quiet uttering, shifting Edmund slightly in his arms as he turns to face her a bit more fully.

Maybe some more whiskey.” He shrugs, he’d only gotten as far as the memorial and the blankets, but with his freehand he gestures for her to lead the way. “After you.”
