She doesn't laugh as he fumbles with his words. Instead her expression softens and with it so does her smile. It's still just as bright and warm, something she can never really shake, but that typical mischievous glint that lights up her eyes is replaced with something else entirely. "It's okay, Ever. I was just worried it maybe got lost or that you guys didn't want to come see me." She tells him truthfully, shrugging her shoulders as she scuffs the toe of her shoe against the ground, peeking up at him from beneath her lashes.
