"..'welcome." Ever replies bashfully, feeling that same swirling uncertainty that Paige was; that this-isn't-quite-right pit of tar that was slowing and growing heavy in his gut. But, he'd set boundaries like his dad had said, and Paige accepted them. So...you know. It should all be fine.
So why didn't it feel fine?

"It...it's so...big, and...it doesn't look so upset from down here." With storms aplenty in Stormbreak and from the city's his vantage point, the ocean below always looked gray and angry.
