"Aye," he says in unexpected agreement with Aurelia, a crooked if not genuine smile on his face as he admires their handiwork. They do make a good team, something that surprises him as much as it pleases him.
Folding his arms across his chest and strolling to and fro across the deck as if to make sure Safrin looks good from every angle, finally Jack seems satisfied - from this part of the ship, anyway. Soon enough he's leading them away so they can admire her from the port. "Mm? These days, experience," he says. Doing it for so long means learning all the jobs, to some extent.
