From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!
Congratulations, Maea!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!
Anyone with an ounce of bond can feel probably feel his annoyance but Maeve is put somewhere he assumes is safe and he follows after Remi. He shifts as he lands next to her, not as a man but as a jaguar. Sure, he's bigger in this form but he's also a lot faster. He nudges Maeve with his head, urging her onto his back. He won't be able to do this for long but he'll be able to do it for long enough to get away from that landshark. Let's get out of here. I'm tired of this.
The worst part is that he is curious about the holes. But if Ronin is going to be like this, he doesn't want to be down in them when the dragon gets around to nuking them.

Locke shifts into a jaguar and tries to carry Maeve away from the landshark and the demi-gods. (The amount of googling I had to do for this..)

Watching as Ray takes off, Maeve is dropped elsewhere, and then Locke joins her, she can’t help but feel a little satisfied.
Until the head quip comes up and Wessex rolls her eyes, “Where was that sense of indignation when an Ascended head was dropped in the Grounds? Feet and hands in Torchline and Halo?” She’d made that drop for a reason - all bad ones - but that no one could draw the parallels is telling: Ascended deaths don’t matter to anyone else. Keeping her eyes trained on Remi and Ronin, she snarks to Nate, Gods, what a hypocritical asshole.
And since he’s declared he doesn’t want the information, Wessex shrugs. “Suit yourself.” They can find out about the deity on their own. Reaching out to make sure she’s got a hand on Nate, Wessex takes the two of them (and Ramoth) away..

Wessex does some talky talk and then teleports herself and Nate away.
