Pettiness was certainly an emotion Remi understood well, and though the pulse of Ronin's emotions was dark and shimmered with a colour like dried blood, the alchemist was more than skilled enough to incorporate the colour into the palette of his own emotions. "Maybe...." Suddenly realizing something, Remi lifts himself off the couch just enough to peer into Ronin's eyes. "...maybe this is how we get the knowtbook back." Using Nate's body as a bargaining chip might have been a disgusting thought, but surely it was no worse than the things Wessex had done. The things Sunjata had done.
