From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!

In the interest of learning from my mistakes, I'm looping you in on some discussions that Wessex, Maea, and I have been having. We are hoping to find some more information, and perhaps artifacts, to arm ourselves for the brewing conflict. To that end, we thought it might be worth seeing if Safrin's Library, located somewhere in the Underground, has knowledge or items that might benefit us.
In addition, Maea suggested the Kappa's cave might be hiding some secrets. I'm less familiar with it, but Wessex thinks its worth a shot. However, I didn't want to engage in any activities that might redound negatively on the Ground (an old dog can learn new tricks!), and I thought your insights on these matters would be particularly helpful.
Please remind me to send you a gift basket of something - old dogs learning new tricks ought to be celebrated!
I confess that know very little about Safrin's Library - I wasn't even aware that it was within the Hollowed Grounds. Would it be worth asking the Voice whether she knows if there is any danger that might be lurking within it?
Failing that, I wonder if the Atheneum might have some information.
For either venture, I don't see it harming the Grounds in any way, especially given that these expeditions are on our own doorstep. Thank you for keeping me in the loop, and if you need an extra pair of hands, you know where to find me.
It's a long story, but I discovered information about a relic that's in Stormbreak. I don't know how wise it is to return there, but at the same time, I am not sure we have much choice. I will also inform Wessex of this, and will be speaking to the Voice soon to see if she can provide any insight.

Amun said he told you about the Stormbreak relic and all I have to say is I know it sounds like a terrible idea but hear me out on this:
The Knowtbook's told me Remi, Ronin, and Deimos are headed to the Maw. I can only imagine that means one thing: a Relic. If there's something down there, I don't see how we can get it - I don't have any sea shifts and we aren't ready to engage with that trio. It’s lost. And assuming that they get it, it’ll put the score at 4:1. We’re losing that race. Badly.
Amun is going to the Voice and even if he can’t find out anything more specific, we should go to Stormbreak. Our presence doesn’t break a ceasefire because we never explicitly stated any terms… did we? We could easily disguise ourselves. Well, Amun can with an upgrade and you could drink from me, use my magic. Or I could summon a kitsune to disguise you. Or you could be yourself, with a Dragoon escort (that’s me and Loki).
If I were going to hide a relic in Stormbreak, even from the Order, I’d hide it somewhere deep and dark. Perhaps where all the Gods can keep an eye on it - in the Temple? Or buried with someone?
I’m trying to pick the battles as best I can. This would be a huge risk, but given our recent losses, we shouldn't sit idly by and let this one go. And we have to go sooner, rather than later, because they’re working on something to kill any Ascended who tries to enter Stormbreak.
Let me know your thoughts. You should be a part of this decision. I'm sorry you weren't a part of the last one. I'm learning.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I appreciate your candidness and the thought behind your argument, Wessex, but I assure you, there is no need.
We did not agree to stay out of Stormbreak, merely not to bring violence to their doorstep.
If you are searching for a relic there, I am more than happy to be part of it. I already have power stored from Sunjata, so if I could be disguised under some alternate means, that would be for the best.
Let's start at the Temple and go from there. Whenever you are ready, let me know.

The Voice didn't know the exact location of the relic, unfortunately. However, she did assure me we had some time before we were locked out of Stormbreak. She advised us to go there and search the city in as innocuous a disguise as we could manage. Isla, you can borrow my cloth if Wessex lends me her power.
Although it's a large area to cover, she did give me a mental map of the city, which should help. I am ready to leave whenever you are. Just let me know when and where to meet you and what to bring, if anything. Also, if I should invite anyone else, I can reach out to them.
