To be fair, it didn't just disappear. It went away with Locke. Not that it really made a difference when the man himself seemingly disappeared. As the shrine comes into view, Maeve takes a breath, smiling at the sight of it. Just as beautiful as she remembered.
"Exactly. There aren't many places that could, right? Nothing else really makes sense." She purses her lips in thought, eyes flicking to their companions as they trot ahead of them, still interested in their game of tag. "We checked the steps and didn't have any luck there. The temple isn't big enough for some kind of creature like that. The plaza doesn't make much sense..." Maeve trails off, glancing towards Ronin, arching a dark brow and waiting for some sort of information that could potentially be the missing piece of the puzzle. If anyone knew the best place in Stormbreak to look it had to be him. Right? Right.
