Melita’s last foray into the swamps had been for the Festival of Lights, and despite how she’d been able to see her friends and family, the apprehension of Fiat Lux, or Liat Fux, still remained after all those years. With trepidation immersed into her movements, cautious and forbearing, the youth held the food she’d brought tightly in her bag, suspiciously glancing back and forth with narrowed eyes and the keen sense that something might unfurl from the grounds.When it didn’t, she and her companions carried on, looking for any familiar faces.
She did happen to spot Sah, and having not been able to harass him in several seasons, the Honeybee lost her dread and tension for the notions of being a nuisance. Waving, she extended greetings with a loud, raucous “Hello!” over the din to the Halovian, before beelining over. “What’re you looking at?”
