On closer examination it was a type he was unfamiliar with, but one that seemed like it would thrive in an underwater garden tended by a careful hand. Satisfied, he tucked it under his arm and nodded politely to Lena. "It will do. I hope I will see you again soon."
It might have been courteous to stay longer and partake of more of the food, but even Hadama's uncultured nose could smell the questionable scents and decay from some of the original offerings, and not even the more recent additions could tempt him into staying longer.
