It’s the kitchens of the VlamVloed where Sunjata finds himself. Not to cook for the patrons but in an attempt to figure out what to make for the strange Fiat Lux event… An event, which was what started the train that is the Flood and the Lone Ranger. It’s bittersweet, of course, but if it hadn’t been for that terrible mud monster, he wonders if they would have ended up together as they had. Luckily he doesn’t have to think about it too much, forever grateful for when they did meet and even the events that happened afterwards.
For now, though, he’s pouring himself a cup of coffee, leaning against the counter in the back. It’s early still, the VlamVloed still technically closed for the day so he’s not impacting anything. He’d let Nate know he’d meet him here once the twins were taken care of, so the majority now is just… Waiting, trying to decide what to make – everyone knows he’s no cook, never has been. Hell, he’d celebrated when he’d managed to make pancakes for the first time.
He makes a cup for himself and one for Nate, fingertips tapping on the edge of the cup as he adds a bit of cream and sugar to his own, stirring it in to mix and meld together, running through potential ideas in his head that he checks off with each attempt to rethink it.
