Plants Before People
Farrow guided Trinket through the Wildwood, holding her hadn loosely, harvesting Peppermint bark every once in a while when she saw large groupings. She led the eerily quiet child to the of the Sidhe Village where a small, but homey house resided. There was a small garden in back, bare, save for newly tilled earth, aerated in preparation for early spring planting. Stake stood up in the turned earth, lines of twine woven amongst them as some measuring tool.

The interior was warm, a small fire still banked and flickering lowley. "I know it's not much, but it's home," Indeed the interior was cramped, a single table shoved in one corner, littered with jars and tins and wooden receptacles all full of dried herbs and plants. More hung upside down from the ceiling, filling the air with smells of floral and herbs. The rest of the space was taken up by a the little fireplace, a rolled mat for sleeping, and one more table holding a large vase in which was planted a vibrant teal orchid veined in viridian. It was tall and bore many blooms. It was obviously well taken care of.

Farrow let Trinket enter the main room, taking her red scarf and draping it from a hook that was nailed next to the door. She smiled wide, though a slight nervous u dertone tinged it's sincerity.

Trinket's unblinking black eyes took in the town around her, covered under a layer of snow. People were going about their business, cleaning snow off their homes, carrying goods through town, and minding their children as they played in the snow. Boring.

Once inside, she barely glanced around at the interior. Bland furniture and herbs and the usual attire of a small house. Boring.

She would have to make things more interesting.

"Let's play a game," Trinket said. She set her doll down on the small table. The doll sat up straight under its own power, its head swiveling completely around as its black glassy eyes took in the interior of the house. When the doll's head finished swiveling around, its eyes fell on Farrow, watching her. Weighing her.

She looked up at the herbs. Herbs were boring, but some could make interesting potions and things. She tried to reach up for them, but they were too high for her small arms. So she commanded the strings that held them hanging: unravel. Bundles of herbs fell to the ground. Trinket picked one up, looking it over.

"Let's make something fun with these," she said. "Something to show the people in town."

She started gathering various herbs, piling them together on the table. She knew the ingredients for potions, though she didn't know how to properly prepare them.
