Noah nodded, understanding coming over him. Eternum reminded him almost of himself at the youngster's age, with his shift being only that of a reindeer. It hardly had the practicality that other, more predatory shifts had on the tundra while hunting. But Noah was able to use his shift strategically, and eventually as he focused on strengthening himself and his mind, his soul grew with more and more shifts.

At Eternum's hope for him verbalized, Noah looked directly at the boy's face. His gaze softened, and he sighed gently. Noah didn't try to pretend that he understood the gods. He was still learning. Especially learning about Safrin, as he interacted with her more as the herald of his patron. "I believe she will." Safrin was many things, and Noah had a handful of first-hand accounts at such, but he did not believe her to be a liar. "I don't think the gods disdain the abandoned as they once did."

Noah shifted as the clouds moved over their heads. The stars glinted away. "Maybe you should visit them." He offered, and gave the kid a smile before gathering up his vial and walking with his companion to find another starry spot to place it.

Once he did, alone again, Noah stayed out the rest of the night and prayed to Vi and Safrin.
