(A thick letter arrives accompanied by a box, both encased in waterproof material. Within the box are samples of soil, fur, and bugs, all meticulously labeled for what they are and where in relation to the impact that they were found).

King Hadama,

I hope this letter finds you well. I and the Adventurer's Guild have completed your commission.

There were no clear signs of just what the lights were though meteorites seem the most likely. They impacted in King's End and left a large crater. Apart from the crater itself, there was no identifying evidence as to what the lights were.

The dimensions of the crater are as follows:
1. Diameter: X
2. Depth: X
3. Spread of damage from the point of impact: X
One portion of the crater was dangerously steep, and we marked it off to warn future investigators to prevent possible injuries.

There was no sign of starmetal.  With this letter are samples collected from the impact site.  Attached to this letter are reports on the individual samples from local specialists. I asked a farmer, a hunter, a merchant, and an apothecary for their input.

On the way to the site, however, Sohalia and I encountered bizarre sentient vines that were unusually purple and hostile. Their touch also proved harmful. The site itself however appears to be safe and not a threat. The corrupted vines, if they are connected to the lights and weather changes, suggest possible danger in the coming days. We need to prepare.

I sought out the wisdom of Mother Dygra and she informed me that she had not seen anything like this before. We may be dealing with something new to the Gods entirely.

I hope this report is of use. Please inform me if there is anything else that I can do.

Sincerely,

Edmund Ansel
Guildmaster of the Adventurer's Guild

Guildmaster Edmund,

Thank you for your work. Your guild has done an excellent job, and this information is valuable. The extra insight into the vines and Dygra's experience is appreciated as well.

Like the vines, strange purple or black flora has been reported across Caido this Flowerbirth, from Torchline to the Greatwood. It may be dangerous to collect samples, but if you have a chance to catalogue more specimens in other regions it would be good to have a guide for warning travelers. Even in Torchline I have come across an unusual 'voidblossom' with black petals and a sickly sweet aroma.

Take care, and go with my thanks for your efforts.

Sincerely,

Hadama, King

King Hadama,

The Adventurer's Guild and I are happy to be of service. I am glad that our information will be of use. If I stumble upon more of these corrupted florae, I will try to procure a sample or at least write down my observations.

Thank you and stay safe in these tumultuous times.

Sincerely,

Edmund Ansel
Guildmaster of the Adventurer's Guild
