As we look to Longheat, I hope this letter finds you well. While there doesn’t need to be any explaining that there are new and different and weird things happening in the world right now, I want to relay information straight from Vi to the rest of you.
Vi has told me that whatever crashed in King’s End during Longnight is still out in the world — and the new and dangerous flora and fauna that have appeared in the wake of the event are not to be saved. Eradicating them completely would please the god of life. Let this be the confidence you need in understanding that whatever this is is a threat.
