From Attuned to Ascended to Ancient, Kiada Njovu-Reyes has been reborn several times throughout her short life, but her fighting spirit has never once been diminished. With beauty, grace and a quick wit, Kiada is the whole package wrapped in an infectious smile. Recent endeavours have found her in the heart of the Hollowed Grounds, aiding the region and bettering it for her new Ancient kin, and whatever she does next, we know it's sure to pack a punch.
Congratulations, Kiada!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!

Even if she was invisible, the presents probably weren’t, but Melita hadn’t thought that far in advance, and quite frankly, didn’t care. Perhaps it was funny, chaotic, or amusing to watch the gifts in her hands dangling about mid-air, clearly coveted by something. Or followed by a wicked cackle at Koa’s response. Snagging at a present from Fangorn, she whispered to her beloved companion, her intentions clearly on Koa. “Steal his shoelaces,” and then began making a new trail as her gourd gave her a confused response, before his vines snaked out towards moving laces.
Because, as everyone was aware, there was a god damned abominable snowball following them, and quite frankly, she wasn’t intending to be caught out.

salvation doesn't look like light So what remains?
In hindsight, maybe Lena should have brought Mittens.
Perhaps kindred spirits might’ve been able to compel, dissuade, or make things worse (as one could only imagine in some chaotic assembly), as the rumbling persisted and continued. She only paused momentarily to glance behind her, eyes rounding and widening at the sight. Alas, Mittens was home, and it wouldn’t much matter now.
So in haste, she continued, striving to fly, dip, dodge, and duck, hoping to veer out of the behemoth’s path. Presents still tucked in her talons, the rosy hued bird persisted in following after the sleigh tracks, praying to find an end soon.

Lena continues to fly with her presents and hopes to dodge the snowball.

The snowball barrage thankfully missed him, and Boreal's head popped up from the snow just in time to see the last of the ammunition landing nearby. She pounced on it, crunching the powdery white sphere in bunt, heavy jaws.
And then looked up at the rumble of a much larger snowball approaching.
Much like Flora, she knew when to fold 'em. The dragon snorted and took a running leap to get airborne, abandoning her human without a backward glance as she took to the safer skies. Tal was left to watch her fly up, up, and away with a look of resigned betrayal on his face before he gauged the distance between himself and the approaching Wintry Doom.
Maybe he had time to grab a few more before it reached them...
Hail, he might as well try!
Tal tries to collect MOAR PRESENTS!
Little before he has a chance to get to know the other Ancient, there’s even more commotion amongst the trek the taller one makes. And it’s with confusion glaring that Asta holds onto the present tightly, attention flickering toward the route behind him as he spots a too large snowball headed straight for them. Brows pinching and a moment of hesitation has his mind calculating, keeping the one present collected in a tight grip.
He utilizes his cane in a way to help him hopefully dodge out of the way of the beast, wanting to stay as far away from the cold and getting wrapped up in it as physically possible. A silent prayer goes up to Dygra for the help, shivering lightly with the movement as snow gets kicked up around him.
Astaroth dodges!

Luckily, Thal avoided the onslaught of snowballs, their impacts thudding around her. She exhaled in relief and placed her gift under her arm, assessing the damage. A few people hadn't been able to evade the attack, falling to the ground or fleeing in defeat. Creeping out from behind her rock, Thal began to make her way across the churned-up snow, her shoulders relaxing slightly. That is, until she noticed the giant abominable snowball coming right for her.
She clenched her teeth and briefly considered returning to the safety of her rock. However, the now discarded presents look extremely tempting. Too tempting as she glanced between the incoming attack and her goal. Thal just grimaced against the cold and began digging out more packages, hoping that the monster had other people to terrorize.
With the barrage of snowballs behind him, he'd thought he was safe to continue his search for the wrecked sleigh. But apparently the snow had other ideas. A huge abominable snowball? How was this normal? Pushing the curiosity and slight fear from his mind, Zavien took his few presents and began swerving through the snow. Maybe if he was enough of an annoying target, it would give up on trying to attack him.
Sweat dripped into his eyes as he ran in a zigzag pattern with exasperation (and a little bit of desperation) on his face. He just wanted to make sure the driver was okay, but now he had to worry about the people around him too. Once he found the wreckage, he vowed to come back and begin excavating those buried in the snow.
it's 2am and i took 17 shots of vodka trying to forget your name but the only name i forgot was mine. and sober —
She gladly takes his hand, hauling herself up from the previous onslaught, about to make some charming joke about how he’s her knight in shining armor when she hears his curse and glances behind her to take note of the very large snowball aimed right their way.
And of course the black streak that bolts toward it. A gasped sound leaves her that’s tone aims more exasperated than anything, and she keeps a hold of her presents and dodges along with Fox, hopefully not landing directly on him (but if she does, oh well. He can certainly handle it.)
The snow bites into her skin despite the jacket that prevents such measures, and she hopes that the red hue doesn’t make her a target for the giant snowball headed right their way.

Things are good, and then things are bad.
Good things: Koa manages to collect more presents, despite the onslaught of snowballs from above. We'll say that Pip's contributions are helpful, because they kind of are, even if she still seems more interested in eating the gifts than delivering them. Feeling pleased with himself, the Dragoon continues to shove gifts into his pockets and coat- that is, until...
"Oh, the fuck?"
That's right: here's the bad. A giant sentient deranged-looking snowball is careening down the hill, seemingly intent on bowling for any idiots who don't get out of its way.
Koa does not plan on being one of those idiots. Still clutching his collection of gifts, the Dragoon dodges - or tries, to, anyway, which is made difficult by the appearance of Fangorn at his feet, seemingly determined to play with his shoelaces. "Not the time, my dude!" Koa chastises bemusedly, glancing around for Melita and some sign of why this is happening to him.
Koa tries to DODGE, though that is made difficult by the fact that Fangorn is attempting to steal his shoelaces
