The fox even made it easier for him, and closed the distance by nosing into Killian’s palm. A surprised laugh escaped him as he gently scratched at the animals head, feeling like such a star until...The HELL was that? A voice in his head, loud and clear, introducing itself and everything. Kiki stopped the scratching and looked around, extremely bewildered. There didn’t seem to be anyone around, so he looked back to the fox. After giving it a once over, he mumbled to it, hands on his knees and still squatting, ”Did you just... say somethin?” He’d forgotten the bit about attuned being able to speak to each other telepathically, and for some reason he still didn’t realize that this was no normal fox.
