Now Killian had encountered another shifter before, and they had communicated telepathically, sort of. But they had both been in animal form, and for some reason it didn't occur to him that this could happen while he was human. Maybe Killian was a lot a bit naïve, maybe he had his suspicions about what was going on and simply didn't care, and maybe he would realize the trick. But right now, it just seemed like a magic fox. And he was all about following magic talking animals.The fox stood to walk down the road, Killian looked around one more time, just to check, then with a shrug started after it. Boy he was dense.
