Mourn - Rules

For those who do not wish to venture into the Barrows, an area exists along the fringes of the hills. Quiet and peaceful, Mourn is a place of reflection dotted with stone benches and spaces to leave flowers, lanterns and other such offerings.

A quaint little town in the middle of Mourn surrounds a gravel road with flecks of gold amongst the rocks. Flanked on each side of the road with houses, with a section toward the middle that’s larger and wider to accommodate a variety of businesses, the town is surrounded by lush fields and wildflowers, along with the occasional dotting of offerings including flowers and lanterns.

The Dreaming Well
A small grove protects this limestone wellhouse, with its arched, glassless windows and round, red-tiled roof. Within, rainbow cobblestones ring the walls of the well shaft and two stout posts support a winch for its old oaken bucket. The spirit of the well is said to grant one night of pleasant dreams to those who toss a shiny pebble into the depths before drinking from the crystalline waters. Strangely, though, nothing tossed in ever seems to make a splash.

Mourn Shrine
An earthen shrine with components from the four quadrants of Caido acts as a shrine for Frey/Rae. Windchimes fill the area with music as an ever-burning bit of flame makes the shrine visible no matter the season or time of day.
