312 PC - Deepfrost

With the close of Leafchange, the temperature rapidly plummets for much of Caido. Torchline and the Oerwoud are still balmy and bright in their tropical climates, the Feverlands sweat out the season and Hak Etme blisters in the endless heat. But the rest of the world is blanketed with snow, bringing crisp, cold days and deadly nights.

Halo suffers the most in the areas outside the Citadel's protection, and the portal is frozen over and blocked. The Hollowed Grounds and Stormbreak are also bitterly cold - snowstorms are not uncommon as the winds crest and fall, and keeping light and warmth is a priority. Still chilly but less affected is the Greatwood, its canopy of trees providing protection. Indeed, this area is a veritable winter wonderland compared to the others.

This year for the first time, Longnight ought to be a time of peace and quiet reflection for all.

An Outlander from a world where he was once a winged wolf, he’s had to come to terms with a lot of the changes Caido brought to him. He’s taken it like a champ, though, getting into the middle of preparation for war, for choosing sides, for finding the good in the Old Gods despite his label of Abandoned. There is much for Sah to learn still, but it seems despite everything he can handle whatever it is that gets thrown at him. We can’t wait to see where he goes from here!
