Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
OG Skinning provided by Kaons, with functionality and many custom plugins made by Neowulf!
Korofi tidbits gave her a hint to a world she’d never seen or been involved with; despite her bastard of a father’s actions in her life. As the tablecloth was chosen, Melita opted to help herself with a ‘don’t mind if I do’ approach towards the cocktail ingredients, mixing more of the honey concoction.
And since she didn’t have much of an insight on the proceedings, other than she was going to be there ayyeeee, her glance inclined towards her uncle.
Hidden Enzo (uh, what? Like a ghost??), Remi, Deimos maybe…and then her brows went upward at the notions of Kiada. She’d forgotten those two were close. “Oh. Yeah. It’ll be fine.” She waved her hand easily. “I didn’t kill her last time I saw her.” Would she even wander here? Meh. “Does she have any other friends that might want to come?” Obviously not Talyson, because then Ludo’s demigod truly would commit a crime in the bar.
"Yeah, probably." Flora agrees, of her mother being suspicious. "I can always put a sign on the door saying the bar is closed for cleaning or something." She adds with a shrug; that way Sunny and Hotaru would still feel like they could come in, but it'd explain why there were so few locals.
Grinning at the mention of her twin, Flora nods before glancing between Sunny and Mel in regard to the rest of the guest list. Not knowing any of the complicated family histories on the Flood's side of things, the queen folds up the remaining tablecloths and tosses them on a nearby table.
"Okay so....Remi and Enzo, obviously you and mom...Melita and Kiada..Deimos...Anyone else? I can send out invites."
you know i'm gonna change, things just don't stay the same no more
Nodding to Flora at the mention of putting up a little closed sign for cleaning, it seems like the perfect inconspicuous thing that they would bypass in a second if given the chance (because yeah, as if that would ever stop Hotaru from entering her daughter’s establishment). She’d probably expect to walk in and help out where she could – and what a surprise that would be. “Sure, that sounds good.” He flashes her a crooked and beaming smile. One that remains as his attention flits to Melita’s thoughts on whether Kiada should attend.
He'd be lying if surprise didn’t immediately cross his face at the admission, nodding to Flora shortly after to confirm. “Kiada, then.” He agrees – and maybe because he feels like testing his luck, he takes a sip of his drink and sets it down, staring at the glass for a moment before looking over toward Melita with a wrinkle of his nose. “I mean, she’s got Sah, Noah, Alys, and Talyson. Half of whom I don’t really get along with.” And there’s the whole Melita and Tal thing.
And the whole Sah killing Melita thing.
He winces and exhales a sharp breath, looking over to Flora to see if he can garner any sympathy.
you know i'm gonna break your fading heart

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
Though this party wasn’t about her, or Sunjata really, the Honeybee couldn’t help the frown as the horde of Ru’s friends turned out to be an issue for…well, herself and her uncle. While Alys was a careful neutral, in that she hadn’t been anything other than unimpressed with her, Talyson went without saying, Sah had killed her, and Noah nearly murdered a multitude of them at the last experimental shindig.
She also glanced over to Flora, waiting to see if she had any other insights on inviting people that wouldn’t be starting rounds of violence within the bar. Melita not included, of course. (Was she the problem?) “Maybeeeee we have enough for now?”
Flora also disliked Sah and not just because he'd killed Melita, but because he'd once rudely called Hotaru away when she had wanted her mother's attention. Maybe it wasn't a good reason to hold a grudge against someone, but best of luck to anyone willing to tell Flora that. Noah was whatever, Alys was nice enough, and while Tal was super helpful, she couldn't shake the idea he really still wanted to bang her mom. Did they all deserve to be left out? Maybe not, but then again....
"I mean...they can all be invited to the wedding? And once we start adding that many names it's easier for the surprise to be spoiled so, I say for now we just stick with the list we had?" Smiling conspiratorily toward Sunny and Mel, Flora shrugs and grins. "I'll let you think it over for a night or two, but if I don't hear from you, those are the invites I'm gonna send."
Tapping her fingers on the table to indicate the matter was closed, the Doubletake waggles her fingers toward the bar. "Now, who wants another drink?"
