if you listen closely, your heart is dripping gold
There's one spot in the Ruins that Varus intends to keep clear of any material scrapping. And luckily for him, the spot that Wessex has chosen is quite a ways off from it. So he arrives happily, flashing a bright grin to the demigod as he steps up beside one of the empty carts, peering into the two homes. There was once a time where he’d known some of those that lived on this street, but that was long ago, and now it could be used for something to benefit them all. He’s sure they’d understand if they were here to see it.
“Think I’ll get started over here, General.” He offers, picking up a hammer, the metal of his hand clinking against the wood of the handle as he picks it up and heads toward one of the houses, ready to get to work to gather stone and brick they can use for the expansion on the Barracks.
Varus picks house B and gets to work!
