Tal was so focused on keeping an eye out across the festival grounds that he wasn't paying attention to who came up on him at the seed table. The courier jerked in surprise at the voice that seemed to appear next to him and he looked up at Deimos guiltily.
"Uh. What? Me? Nothing..." But Deimos was a friend, not some stranger, and the courier winced and amended. "...Nothing important, I guess. Just Sah bein' Sah." He glanced towards Mel again and sighed, forcing his attention away and down to the table in front of them.
"Hey, d'you think the Flowerbirth god would like it if we planted some seeds for 'im near his well?" he asked instead, desperately trying to change the subject.
